so if i just throw some 12's into the cold air return, on my furnace, i'll have surround sound? flares for every floor vent. oh to be a tin bender..
there was a post here, where im sure one of our members worked a system that fair out wieghed this on. a big amplion style horn, 10 foot horn? one of our members built some 8ftx8ft subs for altecs as well. or a western electric horn for limited full range

Honestly, would love to hear them but I don't expect to be impressed.

    Here is one fellow's solution...

    Re: Bass Horn for Altec

I hope to be moving into a new home in the next year or two blessing me with man cave roughly 30 x 48 x 10 feet. Large scale LF supplementation is something always stewing in the back of my mind. I casually keep my eyes open for a screaming deal on EAW KF940's, Meyer dipole/cardioid subs, and a couple other high end pro offerings that will probably never happen.

I'm really fond of the Original EAW bent horn design and sound, and i know i once saw plans online for a bent horn using the Eminence LAB-12 that was very similar to the EAW in scale and performance. Anybody remember this, or have a lead to point me?

Don't know much about these but here's a listing and in your neck of the woods Bowtie... At time of listing says there were 2 available.
